Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 onion chopped
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 4 teaspoons SLOMIXX™
- 1 tsp grated nutmeg
- ¼ cup flour sifted
- 3 ½ cups half and half
- 3 lbs fresh spinach chopped or 2 lb frozen spinach thawed and drained
- ½ cup parmesan cheese grated
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- In a large skillet melt butter with garlic and onion
- Cook on medium-low for 8-10 minutes until onions are translucent
- Add SLOMIXX and nutmeg
- Add flour and mix with a wooden spoon over low heat for 2-3 minutes
- Add half and half and cook until boiling
- Cook for 6-8 minutes until mixture is thickened
- Add parmesan and spinach mix thoroughly
- Transfer to oven-proof baking pan bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes till bubbly.
